Selecting The Correct Shoe Size

Unfortunately, there is no internationally agreed standard for shoe sizes. Also, as we are all individuals, a size 6 that might fit one person may not fit another.

To further complicate matters, some of the shoes we sell come sized in American sizes and, therefore, a conversion to UK and EUR sizes is necessary, and these do not always convert to an exact shoe size.

To try and help you pick the correct size when buying your shoes we have included the following table summarising how the US sizes convert to UK and EUR. It is our recommendation that if there is not a direct size conversion you take the next size up.

This table is only a guide, as different manufacturers use different conversion scales. Therefore, you may find that the Euro size displayed here is not the same as the Euro size printed with your shoes. The conversions are only an approximation.

Lastly, for the very high heels (5 or 6 inches) it is recommended that you automatically increase the size of shoe required by 1 size to account for the angles the foot has to bend.
